Solea was built as a German Government Research vessel for use in the North Sea and the Baltic. In 2004 she passed into private hands and was then extensively converted, redesigned and refitted into a private exploration vessel.
Due to her outward appearance this is not your typical yacht but the rugged exterior belies the surprisingly comfortable interior. With an overall length of 36 meters (118′) she now has excellent airconditioned accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins.
There are 2 double bedded cabins and 3 twins (1 with a pullman) all with ensuite facilities, one of the doubles has a bathroom with a full length bath.
There are permanent email connections throughout and for those of you that have to work whilst on board there is a seperate office.
She boasts two huge outside deck spaces both with areas for alfresco dining, sunbathing and entertainement.
The SOLEA was redisgned to be used not only in the Mediterranean by by those that want to explore off the beaten track in an extremly comfortable and refined interior.
Please note that smoking is strictly not allowed on board.
