After a successful 2008 season, INDEPENDENCE will be once again be competing in the ARC Transatlantic Rally this November and will be available to charter from January 2009 in the Caribbean.
She will be heading back to the Mediterranean at the end of April, and will be available throughout the Western Mediterranean from June 2009. She will consider all destinations with little or no delivery fees.
The original Moody 64 INDEPENDENCE is designed to offer exhilarating blue water sailing with her impressive racing rig, she has twice completed trans-atlantic races, winning her class on one occasion. With her deep keel she is capable of reaching thrilling speeds for a yacht of her size, whilst maintaining incredible stability.

Tenders & Toys
Independence has two 18-ft. Castoldi diesel-powered tenders with jet drive, windshields, covered forward seating for dry shore transfers, and towing poles for a variety of tow toys. They are stowed below deck at the forward end of the yacht. Two Quantum hydraulic cranes deploy the tenders as well as other toys stowed in the bow lockers.
Special Features
Recent upgrades to the entertainment system include: flat screen TVs, Kaleidescape System, iPod docking capabilities, and satellite TV accessible in all staterooms via Crestron remotes.
High speed wireless internet is available throughout the yacht, and a custom-designed Vessel Communication Management System controls the internet connections from a central console.
