This fast cruiser,with its modern-styled aluminium superstructure and steel hull,is remarkably precise and therefore a joy to manoeuvre. Her high-tech sloop rigging gives her powerful sailing performance, backed by a Mercedes engine and two noisefree generators. Below deck once in the saloon, it is apparent that Scarena is different again. Stylishly decorated with teak woodwork, turquoise carpet and white leather sofas it is simple yet sophisticated. In contrast to the saloon the cabins are finished with elsberry wood. The mastercabin, which has a desk that doubles as a dressingtable, a settee, and a spyhole on the marine world through an underwater viewing window is particularly luxurious. So too is its adjacent showerroom which is embellished with marble and a rotating sreen of clear acrylic. In short, Scarena represents a fine example of good design and immaculate construction standards. So it resulted in one of the sleekest Jongerts ever to be built.
